Rare Civil War Era Photos MOSES BROWN QUAKER SCHOOL & CLASS rhode island history signature I believe he/she was deceasedLot of two original c. 1865 1866 CDV photos, the first showing the Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island, and the second showing a teachers and a class of children, presumably taken at the school. The Moses Brown School is an independent, Quaker, college preparatory school, offering pre kindergarten through secondary school classes. It was founded in 1784 by Moses Brown, a Quaker abolitionist, and is one of the oldest preparatory schools in
