mine don’t and we get heavy frosts as we are not in Christchurch but further up the plains

Hypericum reptans Vera spreading even further and aCreeping St Johns Wort. A miniature and delicate form of the bold genus coming from the Himalayas. At only 10 20cm high, it will tumble over walls and rocks looking fabulous year round. It looks good every where, but it can wander about. In winter the leaves become a beautiful golden hue. Small flowers in profusion open from reddish buds at the tips of the stems in summer.
